Dudley Council

We were asked by Dudley Council to help make the case for European Regional Development Funding to help bring forward enabling commercial development at the foot of Castle Hill, Dudley. The Council’s objective was to generate receipts that could be used to enhance the environment of the important heritage assets on Castle Hill, and to help restore the listed structures and enclosures at Zoological  Gardens there.

Our work included estimating the potential scale of employment, investment and other economic impacts, and helping to frame a compelling case for the scheme, which was complex and innovative.

Result

The case was successfully made and construction of the development platform is now underway.
